She was a perfectly demure virgin and I loved her more than I can say. We have two kids and moved back to the US 9 years ago. I am a workaholic and have admittedly neglected her a lot more than I should have. Accordingly, about 5 years ago, she had an affair with her best friend's husband. Things were good for a few years after that, then started to go off the rails again as again I starting focusing too much on work. Additionally, although she didn't speak a word of English when we came back to the US, she now is fluent and since our kids are older now, she works outside the home and has a true social network. Which is great and healthy. But one of her friends at work has a side gig as a bartender and one weekend they needed an extra cocktail waitress and so now she does that, too. That has provided her with a lot of exposure, she's done things she never would've dreamed of before - gotten not allowed, smoked weed, danced with strange men, etc. She's gotten a taste for a fun life outside the home, let's put it that way. She never wanted to do those things with me, but with other people, she does.
